Dr. Aaisha Amjad
Dr. Aaisha Amjad is an Assistant Professor of Sociology with extensive research contributions in women’s health, adolescent issues, and spiritual coping.
She has published 30 articles in reputable national and international journals, with her recent work focusing on stigma, vulnerability, guilt, shame, forgiveness, and empathy in coping and well-being.
Her PhD research explored infertility, spiritual coping, and quality of life among infertile couples, and she is currently developing manuscripts expanding on these themes.
Dr. Aaisha teaches research methods, clinical sociology, gender studies, and introductory sociology, emphasizing critical thinking and academic rigor. Beyond academia, she has contributed to projects with organizations like the World Bank and the International Labour Organization, addressing socio-economic and health-related challenges.
She holds a PhD, MPhil, and MA in Sociology from the Institute of Social & Cultural Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore. Her interdisciplinary research and dedication to advancing sociological discourse make her a distinguished scholar in her field.
