Dr. Shehla Alvi is a highly respected Consultant Psychiatrist and Senior Psychotherapist with over two decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience in mental health. Currently based at Ziauddin University Hospital Karachi since 2005, she brings a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based approach to psychiatric care.

Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of mental health issues including general psychiatric disorders, addiction, OCD, complex personality and dissociative disorders, with a special focus on crisis management and holistic well-being.

Dr. Shehla holds multiple advanced qualifications including an FCPS in Psychiatry, an MSc in Addictive Behaviour from the University of Liverpool, and diplomas in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling from the UK. She has served as Professor and Head of Department at United Medical and Dental College, Associate Professor at Ziauddin Medical College, and has held leadership roles in the Pakistan Psychiatric Society.

Her passion for healing extends beyond conventional psychiatry, as she incorporates spiritual wellness and alternative therapeutic techniques through courses such as Wild Therapy and Trauma Release.
